It’s got everything it needs to be a perennial powerhouse in the jewelry space. So, I was wondering why after so many award-winning years at “InStyle” magazine, would you take on the challenge of launching a new publication in the digital space, and what niche do you think fills in the pantheon of established jewelry trade magazines and blogs? Question #2 – With over 20 successful years at “InStyle” magazine, you’ve got tremendous insights into what it takes to make a magazine successful. How did you assemble this talented team for the project, and how do you keep the magazine producing at such a consistently high level? Timestamp: [7:46]
Question #4 – The online magazine has several great content sections. Two of my consistent favorites are, “Rocks My World,” and “Jewelry Movie Review.” With so much material to choose from, how do you determine what gets into the magazine, and as a follow-up, how often do you add new content? Question #6 – Let me take a moment to say, “Congratulations” on recently receiving two great awards! You’ve recently won the Jewelers of America “GEM Award for Media Excellence” and also the “Jewelry Champion” T & C Award from Town & Country magazine. In each case, you faced tough competition. What was running through your mind as you were up on stage receiving the GEM Award for Media Excellence in New York, and as a follow-up, what advice would you give those aspiring to be the next recipient of this prestigious award?
