Rob Bates has written about the diamond and jewelry industries for nearly 20 years for the Rapaport Diamond Report, National Jeweler, and, for the last 15 years, as senior editor of JCK.
His responsibilities include reporting on the diamond industry and the high-volume retail sector, and helping to compile JCK’s daily enewsletter.
His blog “Cutting Remarks” has won two Jesse H. Neal awards from American Business Media, as well as, an award for best B to B Blog at the Media Industry Newsletter’s 2012 Best of the Web awards.
Rob’s JCK articles have won five Eddies from Folio magazine and the prestigious Triple Zero award from the American Gem Society.
